YÊU Cosmetics enters premium makeup market with TecCos concept

YÊU Cosmetics, India’s first technology-backed cosmetics (TecCos) brand, has launched with the goal of revolutionising the premium beauty market. Founded by Jharkhand-based siblings Simran Bagga and Shivam Bagga, the brand offers science-backed products tailored to diverse Indian skin types.

After two years of research and development, YÊU introduced its TecCos concept—advanced formulas addressing common issues such as oxidation and fading pigment. The brand also features an AI-powered virtual assistant, Grace, to provide users with solutions to common makeup challenges.

YÊU projects capturing 5–7% of India’s premium cosmetics market within six months, with first-year revenue estimates at INR 6–7 crore and a goal of reaching INR 15–20 crore by the second year.

“At its core, YÊU believes that beauty is unique to everyone and that one-size-fits-all products do not cater to the individual needs of consumers,” said Simran Bagga, Founder, YÊU Cosmetics.

“Each product in YÊU’s line, including our lipsticks and blush, is infused with skincare benefits. Our mission is to empower people to feel confident in their skin,” she adds.

The brand’s initial offerings include a blush and lip duo, both vegan and free of parabens, sulfates, and artificial fragrances. The products incorporate essential oils such as calendula and macadamia oil, along with sun protection and hydration benefits.

YÊU plans to expand its reach through online marketplaces and luxury retail stores, complementing its current direct-to-consumer model on its website. With a long-term vision of global expansion, the brand aims to promote inclusivity and confidence through personalized, scientifically supported beauty solutions.
