Wacoal launches ‘BASICS’ lingerie line exclusively in India

Japanese lingerie brand Wacoal has launched ‘Wacoal BASICS,’ an exclusive product line designed for the Indian market. This new range aims to provide premium comfort and style at a more accessible price point, catering to the everyday needs of modern Indian women.

“We’ve created the ‘Wacoal BASICS’ product line to offer essential lingerie that every woman should have in her wardrobe. Our goal was to make Wacoal’s premium quality and comfort more accessible by introducing a range that doesn’t compromise on style or fit, even at a more affordable price point,” Pooja Merani, COO, Wacoal India, said.

The ‘Wacoal BASICS’ line features essential lingerie crafted from materials that ensure comfort and suitability for all-day wear. The collection includes bras designed for versatility and ease, available in a neutral colour palette to seamlessly blend with various wardrobes. Notable pieces include the Essentials 2.0 bras made from soft cotton, the Zoe T-Shirt Bra for a lifted shape, the Lite Push-Up Bra with subtle lace details, and the It’s Perfect Bra with a silky finish.

These products will be available at Wacoal India’s retail stores and on its official website.

Founded in Japan in 1946, Wacoal opened its first store in India in December 2015. The brand continues to focus on delivering high-quality lingerie that meets diverse lifestyle needs.
