BESTSELLER India has announced that Vineet Gautam, its CEO & Country Head, will step down from his position after serving the organisation for 15 years. Gautam, who joined the company in January 2010, has been instrumental in introducing and establishing brands such as JACK & JONES, VERO MODA, ONLY, and SELECTED HOMME in India.
Reflecting on his tenure, Gautam stated, “When I began this journey 15 years ago, my goal was to bring a new wave of fashion to India. The success we have achieved together – from launching brands to creating a robust retail network – has been deeply fulfilling. I am incredibly proud of the team at BESTSELLER India, whose passion and commitment have made us a market leader. As I step away, I am confident that the legacy we have built will continue to thrive.”
Under his leadership, BESTSELLER India expanded its footprint to include 332 exclusive brand outlets and over 1,578 shop-in-shops across the country. Gautam’s last working day will be December 31, 2024.

While the search for Gautam’s successor is underway, Mrithyunjay Amblimath, currently the Head of Sales, will assume the role of interim leader. Amblimath has been part of BESTSELLER India’s leadership team and has experience in driving operational growth and strategic initiatives.
BESTSELLER India markets six brands, including JACK & JONES, VERO MODA, ONLY, SELECTED HOMME, JACK & JONES Junior, and VERO MODA GIRL. Globally, BESTSELLER is present in 44 countries with over 2,800 chain stores and 12,000 external multi-brand outlets.
