Online fashion retailer Limeroad.com has opened its first physical store in Karnataka. The 12,000 sq. ft store is located in Hubli, on Gokul Road, and spans three floors.
The Hubli store is designed with the fashion-forward Gen Z demographic in mind, showcasing a selection of globally inspired fashion apparel products, the company said in the statement.
“The brand is set to offer its unique fashion philosophy to customers and become a landmark fashion destination for the region,” the company added in the press release.
The struggling online retailer – which was previously backed by Tiger Global and other private equity firms – was acquired by value fashion retailer V-Mart in 2022. At the time of the acquisition, V-Mart had stated they would invest Rs 150 crore over 3 years into Limeroad to grow it.
NSE-listed V-Mart Retail is one of India’s largest value fashion and lifestyle retailers operating more than 450 stores across the country, primarily in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and the stores are in an average size of 8,000 sq. ft.
