UNIQLO unveils 2024 Spring Collection by Clare Waight Keller

Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO is launching its 2024 Spring Collection, featuring a women’s line designed by distinguished British fashion designer Clare Waight Keller. Known for her sophisticated and effortless wardrobes, Waight Keller’s latest collection will embody a fusion of casual ease and modern sophistication, capturing the invigorating energy of spring, the brand announced in a release on Tuesday.

The collection introduces a range of light, comfortable, and vibrant pieces designed to complement everyday life. Adorned in lively shades of poppy red, blush pink, aqua blue, and army green, the line includes a pleated dress, voluminous wide pants paired with a jacket, knitted vests, cropped T-shirts, poplin check baseball caps and roomy faux leather bags.

Clare Waight Keller, expressing her creative vision said, “In this second collection for UNIQLO: C, I wanted to explore the concept of movement through lightness. Working with ultra-light fabrications, I found a new perspective on proportions. Longer volumes play against cropped silhouettes. Fluidity and freshness were key elements of the spirit. I think that Spring represents a time of transition where the seasons change, and our wardrobes need the same flexibility. I love the mix between tailored and relaxed styles. The feeling is effortlessly elegant with a youthful attitude that captures the lightness and ease of summertime.”

The Spring Collection is scheduled for launch on February 23, 2024, with the designer hinting at a subsequent introduction of the 2024 Summer Collection on April 5.

The lineup includes 30 items, featuring outerwear, knits, skirts, pants, dresses, shirts, blouses, bags, cut-and-sew pieces, and accessories. The pricing ranges from ₹1,490 to ₹8,900, offering a diverse range of choices for fashion enthusiasts. The complete collection will be available at Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj, Delhi, and on the uniqlo.com online store, with select items also accessible at other UNIQLO stores across India.

Clare Waight Keller, a British-born designer, holds an impressive track record of leadership roles at some of the world’s top fashion houses. In 2018, she was honored with the prestigious Womenswear Designer of the Year award at the British Fashion Awards and recognized as one of the most influential individuals in TIME magazine’s TIME 100 Awards in 2019.

UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy centers around simplicity, quality, and longevity, aiming to provide clothing that is of the time and for the time. As part of Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., one of the world’s largest apparel retail companies, UNIQLO continues to expand its global presence with over 2,400 stores worldwide. The brand remains dedicated to changing conventional wisdom and enriching lives through innovative and accessible clothing.
