In celebration of Independence Day, Menswear brand Snitch announced its commitment to empowering and employing individuals with visual impairments. The brand, which operates as a ‘Make in India’ entity, is focused on integrating this specially-abled workforce into its operations by providing them with employment opportunities and training.
“At Snitch, we believe in the power of inclusivity and empowerment. By training and employing individuals with visual impairments, we are not only creating beautiful garments but also weaving stories of resilience and spirit into every thread,” Siddharth Dungarwal, founder, Snitch said.
Snitch’s initiative involves training blind individuals in various garment-making processes, including stitching, embroidery, fabric cutting, and assembly. This approach aims to leverage their skills while providing them with a supportive environment to enhance their independence and confidence.
Through this effort, Snitch aims to showcase the talents of the specially-abled workforce and contribute to a more inclusive and diverse industry.
