Satyaki Ghosh has been elevated to the post of CEO as Cellulosic Fashion Yarn at Grasim. Prior to this, he served as CEO – Domestic Textiles, Grasim. Ghosh has taken charge since the end of January, 2025.
In his new role as CEO of Cellulosic Fashion Yarn, Ghosh will oversee a diverse range of functions including Purchase, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Projects, HR, and Finance.
With a turnover of $350 million, he will lead a team of 600+ managers to deliver high-quality products to top-tier customers in the Apparel, Home Textiles &Technical Textile space. Some key customers for Grasim in the B2B business include Inditex ( Zara/ Mango/ Massimo Dutti) , H&M in apparel space and Continental, Pirelli, Bridgestone, etc in TechTextile space.
About Satyaki Ghosh
Satyaki Ghosh has been working with the Aditya Birla Group since 2016. Throughout his tenure with the group, he has led the domestic textiles and Thai acrylic fibre businesses.
Previously, he worked at L’Oreal India Private Limited, Spencer’s Retail Limited, and PepsiCo, Inc. He has overseen efforts in the domestic textiles industry, such as the development of e-commerce and direct-to-consumer enterprises, the expansion of Linen Club Studio, and the ‘Wealth out of Waste’ project.
His experience includes both B2C and B2B organisations from various geographies. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an MBA from IISWBM, University of Calcutta.
