Spreading its wings and reaching new horizons, SALT Attire has now expanded its presence by opening a new store at DLF Avenue in Saket, Delhi.
Founded by Dipti Tolani in July 2016, Salt Attire is a homegrown, affordable luxury brand whose main purpose was to give women clothing that had a sense of fluidity; one that could move from desk to dinner in a functional and aesthetic manner.
The brand focuses on clean cut designs with finer detailing that make all of its clothing comfortable, chic and sophisticated. Its core philosophy is simple and straightforward – to design a nine to nine wardrobe for their target customer base.
Salt Attire addresses a crucial market gap in the fashion sector by understanding the needs of the contemporary woman who needs to move around all day while feeling stylish and at ease. The brand’s take on what the formalwear market for women was and why it should change has stirred a buzz and put it on top of its retail game in the country and beyond.
So far, the brand had 5 retail stores: three in Mumbai and two in Delhi-NCR. Their newest addition in Saket’s DLF Avenue is their 6th store in the country. In a recent and exclusive interview with IMAGES BoF, the brand’s founder, Dipti Tolani said that a 7th store is also on its way and is anticipated to be located in Noida.
In the interview, Dipti Tolani said, “Marked by a strategic expansion, this year, we have forayed into online marketplaces while also strategically expanding our offline footprint. We are looking at over 200% growth in this financial year. From an ARR of 4cr in the last financial year, we are looking at an ARR of over 12cr in the upcoming financial year.
In the next 2 years, we have planned a rapid expansion in terms of offline and online presence and are looking to be the one-stop shop for women looking for thoughtfully designed fashion forward and premium clothing.”
