Sustainable fashion brand Roar for Good has introduced Roar Lab, an in-house design, sampling, and small-scale production unit based in Mumbai. The launch marks a significant step towards streamlining operations and reinforcing the brand’s focus on sustainability and innovation.
The establishment of Roar Lab aims to accelerate production timelines, ensuring faster turnarounds and timely deliveries. It also enhances quality control by maintaining strict oversight on production processes, aligning with the brand’s standards.
By facilitating regular sampling and fostering innovation in design, the unit boosts creativity while optimising costs through reduced waste and improved expense management. Additionally, Roar Lab incorporates sustainable practices such as reusing excess materials, alongside a flexible approach to production that enables smaller, curated collections and frequent product drops.
The unit’s first initiatives include the launch of two new collections. The Tencel Denim Collection re-imagines denim through a sustainable lens, while the Hemp Collection focuses on natural, durable, and eco-friendly materials. Roar Lab reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative and environmentally conscious fashion.
