Ramraj Cotton announced Rishab Shetty, the star of the superhit film Kantara, as the brand ambassador for its range of dhotis, shirts, and kurtas. In an official statement, Arun Eashwar, Managing Director, Ramraj Cotton, expressed his pleasure and confidence in the association with the acclaimed actor and director.
“I’ve read a lot about him; I’ve interacted with him in the last few months and I’ve come to know that he is someone who cherishes his cultural roots and takes a lot of pride in his tradition. He is one of the few Indian actors who wears the traditional Indian dhoti at all his functions. That was something that attracted us to be associated with him,” said Eashwar.
He further stated that the ethos and beliefs of both the actor and the brand align perfectly, making it a perfect association for Ramraj Cotton. As the brand expands its presence beyond southern Indian states to North India, the association is expected to elevate it to greater heights.
Reflecting on the cultural significance of Ramraj’s products, the actor highlighted the deep connection he has had with the brand since childhood saying “it is a symbol of Indian culture and a Swadeshi brand that has grown tremendously in the country”.
