Men’s ethnicwear brand Mohanlal Sons has announced the opening of three new stores, as part of their ongoing expansion plan. The new locations are at Treasure Island Mall in Indore, Phoenix Marketcity in Bengaluru, and Wave Mall in Jammu, strategically chosen to serve the fashion-conscious customer base in these areas.
India’s oldest retailer, Mohanlal Sons now boasts a total of 37 showrooms across 20 cities nationwide.
Earlier this year in an interaction with IMAGES Business of Fashion, Mayank Mohan, Partner & CEO, Mohanlal Sons revealed the brand’s plans to expand nationwide through a franchise model. Notably, all Mohanlal Sons’ stores are company owned and operated (COCO) but the brand is planning to explore the franchise model as well to further grow its presence across the country at a faster pace.
“We have grown from a single store to 34 (currently 37), with more in the pipeline, but to reach 100 or more, we will need to adopt franchising,” Mayank noted in the interview.
