Michael Kors introduced its Fall/Winter 2024 collection with a nod to timelessness in a runway spectacle held at the former Barneys New York store space in Chelsea, New York.
The collection celebrates enduring fashion with a blend of sculptural tailoring reminiscent of the 1930s, the luxurious simplicity of the 1990s, and contemporary casual elegance. The designs feature a juxtaposition of covered and uncovered elements, with lace and bias-cut satin paired with outerwear. A rich palette of warm cappuccino and chocolate tones, alongside crisp midnight and ivory shades, infused the collection with a sense of luxury.
Footwear options ranged from sleek pumps to stiletto boots and loafers, complemented by capacious totes and shrunken top-handle bags, including the new chain-handle Manhatta bag designed for everyday luxury.
The runway was graced by a roster of models, including Amber Valletta, Malgosia, Alek Wek, Caroline Trentini, and others, who descended the iconic spiral staircase and paraded down the mirror-lined runway to a New York-centric soundtrack featuring tracks from Alicia Keys and Bobby Short.
The front row boasted A-list celebrities such as Blake Lively, Nina Dobrev, Gabrielle Union-Wade, and others, who gathered to witness the collection unveiling.
The live show experience premiered on various digital platforms, including MichaelKors-Collection.com, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and other international channels like WeChat, Weibo, LINE, and Kakao.
