British retailer Marks & Spencer has started 2025 with three key appointments in its leadership team. Manish Kapoor has quit his post as CEO & Managing Director of Pepe Jeans India and will join M&S India as Managing Director. Kapoor will assume the post in April, 2025.
Aside from this, M&S has appointed Victoria Jones as its Commercial Director and Richard Davies has been elevated to International Partnerships Director. Davies has been promoted from his previous role of Category Head for Brands at M&S.
All three will report to Mark Lemming – Managing Director, International. Lemming was appointed to this post last year as M&S announced a reset of priorities of its international business under a new leadership.
The purpose of the new leadership under Mark Lemming is to reset the international business, building strong foundations for future growth through capital light partnerships and a multi-platform online business. The general idea is to enable greater opportunity to leverage the strength and knowledge of the M&S UK business and trusted brand to increase global reach.
Mark Lemming, Managing Director of International said, “Building an experienced global leadership team is an essential element of this plan and Manish, Victoria and Richard will play important roles, bringing fresh perspectives on our International reset and future growth strategy.”
