Womenswear brand Madame has opened its first store in Nagaland, marking its sixth outlet in Northeast India. The new store is located on Nyamo Lotha Road, Dimapur, and adds to Madame’s existing presence in Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, and Siliguri.
Ruopfuzhano Whiso, Miss Universe Fourth Runner-Up 2024, attended the store launch event.
“Northeast India has always been a significant market for us, given its vibrant fashion culture and discerning customer base,” said Akhil Jain, Executive Director, Madame. “The opening of our first store in Nagaland is a step towards bringing our unique fashion collections closer to the people of the region, and we are excited to become a part of their fashion journey.”
The Dimapur store offers Madame’s full range of western wear, including casual wear, workwear, and party wear. Founded in 1993, Madame operates over 170 exclusive stores across tier I and tier II cities in India, with more than 900 retail touchpoints nationwide. The brand also sells online through Myntra, Ajio, Flipkart, Amazon, and its own platform, madameonline.com.
