KALKI Fashion bags Rs 225 cr funding from Lighthouse Funds

Mumbai-based occassion wear brand KALKI Fashion has secured a ₹225 crore investment from Lighthouse Funds to power its next phase of growth. The move marks a major milestone for the brand as it looks to scale up operations, expand retail presence, and strengthen its global footprint.

With 8 flagship stores across major metros and a strong direct-to-consumer (D2C) business contributing 35% of revenue, KALKI has built a loyal following for its contemporary Indian silhouettes and bridal couture. The funding will help the brand open new stores in untapped Indian cities and international fashion hubs while enhancing its digital experience with personalisation and seamless omnichannel services.

Known for turning emerging labels into household names, Lighthouse’s backing will support KALKI’s expansion into new customer segments—beyond bridal—such as luxury prêt and global ethnicwear buyers.

The investment will also boost product development, enabling quicker launches of festive collections and exclusive capsule lines. Plans are in place to upgrade the supply chain and production systems for better stock availability and faster customisation, especially for bridal clients.

KALKI Fashion’s international sales are already strong, with global customers accounting for 75% of digital revenue across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Upcoming launches like KALKI Weaves and Rooted by KALKI Fashion will further strengthen its global appeal.

With steady double-digit revenue growth, healthy margins from in-house production, and a full-price retail model, KALKI enters this new chapter with confidence—ready to take Indian occasion wear to the world.
