The partnership between R|Elan™ and JJ Valaya brought an elegant conclusion to Sustainable Fashion Day at Lakmē Fashion Week, held in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). The showcase, held on Day 2 of the event at the renowned Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, featured the bridge-to-luxury line, JJV. Kapurthala by JJ Valaya.
The collaboration highlighted a seamless blend of conscious luxury, showcasing eco-friendly fabrics such as R|Elan™ GreenGold, crafted from recycled PET bottles, and innovative technologies like R|Elan™ Kooltex. These materials not only reflected a commitment to sustainability but also enhanced the performance and style of the garments.

The JJV.Kapurthala ‘Char’ collection featured occasion wear inspired by the personal travelogues of Maharaja Jagjit Singh of Kapurthala. Women’s wear showcased rich multi-printed lehengas, colorful striped saris, and traditional circular motif kurtas, while men’s wear featured simple yet elegant ensembles with subtle detailing.
The collection aimed to cater to contemporary buyers seeking ensembles that blend tradition with innovation, offering creations suitable for global wear. With a grand amalgamation of colors, textures, and styles, the collection exemplified elegance and conscious dressing.
