Guess Jeans enters Indian market with Tata Cliq partnership

GUESS? Inc., through its subsidiary Guess? India Pvt Ltd, has launched its California-based denim lifestyle brand, GUESS JEANS, in India. The brand enters the market via a long-term franchise partnership with Tata CLiQ, the multi-category e-commerce platform operated by Tata UniStore Limited, a Tata Group company.

As the official retailer for GUESS JEANS in India, Tata CLiQ will facilitate the brand’s omnichannel strategy by establishing physical stores and digital storefronts nationwide.

The brand’s entry focuses on a comprehensive wardrobe collection anchored by its innovative GUESS AIRWASH™ denim. This technology replaces traditional stone washing with a sustainable process using air and bubbles, reducing water and energy consumption.

This partnership aligns with GUESS JEANS’ global growth strategy to expand its retail footprint while targeting Indian consumers with accessible pricing, a casual aesthetic, and modern communication strategies.
