Digital-first fine jewellery brand BlueStone appointed ex-Bestseller head of retail Gaurav Sachdeva as its Chief Retail Officer. Sachdeva brings a wealth of experience from his 11-year tenure with Bestseller India, where he made significant contributions to the fashion and lifestyle sector.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Sachdeva shared in his LinkedIn announcement, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Retail Officer at BlueStone!”
In his new role, Sachdeva will oversee BlueStone’s retail operations with a focus on driving sales, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring profitability across the brand’s retail channels. His extensive background, spanning over 20 years in the fashion and lifestyle retail industry, includes pivotal roles at Hero Cycles Ltd., Puma, VF Corporation, and Genpact LLC.
Sachdeva’s career with Denmark-based Bestseller began in August 2013 as National Sales Head. After eight successful years in this role, he was promoted to Head of Retail, managing exclusive brand outlets (EBO) and shop-in-shops (SIS) for brands such as Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, Only, and Selected Homme.
BlueStone, founded in Bengaluru in 2011 by Gaurav Singh Kushwaha and Sudeep Nagar, operates as an omnichannel jewellery retailer. Backed by investors including Accel Partners, Kalaari Capital, Saama Capital, and Hero Enterprises, the brand has grown to encompass over 214 stores across more than 75 cities.
