Dhruv Kaura, former COO, Tasva, an ABFRL brand, has joined Reliance Retail as Vice President, Trends Footwear. Kaura announced the new position on his LinkedIn page. He will be reporting to Kumar Nitesh, CEO, AJIO Business & Trends Footwear and will be based in Bengaluru. The brands Lee Cooper, Catwalk and Performax come under the umbrella of Trends Footwear.
Kaura’s responsibilities at Trends Footwear will extend to – but not be limited to – driving demand and growth for the brand across India.
Kaura departed from Tasva in January this year after playing a key role in its nationwide expansion since May 2022. In an announcement on LinkedIn he stated: “I will always cherish my time spent building TASVA | Aditya Birla Group x Tarun Tahiliani and would take immense learnings to my future professional assignment.”
Reliance Retail’s Trends Footwear (formerly Reliance Footprint, rebranded in 2017) operates in more than 700 points of sale across 355 cities in India as of February last year.
Former Experience
Kaura comes with rich experience in establishing and growing businesses across Fashion, Sports, Footwear and FMCG sales. Prior to joining Tasva, he worked with Adidas for 7.5 years and Bata India for 5 years.
With a solid pedigree, analytical thinking and an unmatched drive and commitment, he has led multiple teams and created leaders for and out of organizations he has worked for.
On a personal front, he has been a state level athlete and likes to actively participate in yoga, lawn tennis and club level level cricket in his spare time.
