Ethnicwear brand Fashor has successfully raised $5 million in a funding round led by early-stage venture capital firm Blume Ventures. The funding will be utilised for brand development, supply chain strengthening, and expanding the brand’s omnichannel presence.
Fashor, founded by Vikram and Priyanka Kankaria, is currently available on major fashion marketplaces including Reliance Ajio, Nykaa Fashion, and Flipkart-owned Myntra, in addition to its own website and app.
“We are excited to leverage this partnership to drive our next phase of growth, with a continued focus on delivering exceptional value to our customers,” said Chief Executive Officer, Vikram Kankaria.
“Fashor is making quality fashion accessible to women, driving freshness in ethnicwear like never before. Priyanka and Vikram have instilled a strong product DNA in Fashor, supported by a scalable supply chain, that enables them to offer price points untouched by national incumbents,” commented Apurva Dixit, AVP Investments at Blume Ventures on the investment.
The brand plans to expand its retail footprint by opening over 100 stores featuring exclusive products in the coming years.
