Indian ethnic wear brand Soch is launching its first international store in Brampton, Canada, marking the brand’s entry into the North American market. The new store will officially open its doors to customers on May 18th.
The Brampton store will offer Soch’s latest collection, including sarees, salwar suits, kurtas, tunics, kurta sets, lehengas, and kaftans. Events and promotions are planned to celebrate the grand opening, highlighting Indian culture and heritage.
With nearly two decades in the industry, Soch operates over 175 stores across 68 cities in India. CEO and Co-founder, Vinay Chatlani emphasized the strategic importance of this move stating, “Expanding into Canada is a decisive moment for the brand. This step signifies the brand’s growth beyond borders, increasing the stakes and expectations of our consumers. Our strategy is to extend our presence into overseas markets with significant Indian-origin populations, and Canada aligns perfectly with that vision. It speaks of the accessibility we promise to deliver to our customers.”
This Canadian launch is the first step in Soch’s broader global expansion strategy. Future plans include opening stores in other major cities in Canada, the USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Mauritius, the Middle East, and the UK.
The Brampton store will incorporate Soch’s in-store technologies, including the Endless Isle and other omnichannel functionalities. The brand has also launched a dedicated website for Canada to showcase its collections.
