Converse and Comme des Garçons (CDG) are celebrating the 15th anniversary of their partnership with the reissue of the original Single Hearts design. This collaboration began in 2009 when CDG’s ‘Hearts and Eyes’ logo first appeared on the Chuck Taylor All Star. Over the past 15 years, the partnership has produced more than 20 iterations, influencing modern footwear collaborations across cultures.
For this anniversary, the brands are bringing the OG Single Hearts design to the Chuck 70 and Chuck 70 Ox for the first time, while retaining the original logo details from the 2009 launch. Since then, the PLAY line’s signature logo has appeared across several Converse silhouettes—the heart-and-eyes logo: a signifier of the collaboration’s minimalist yet optimistic and unassuming style. The logo has been seen peeking out amongst polka dots and multiplied and magnified across the canvases of Converse’s most beloved styles.
The OG Single Hearts pack will include the Converse x Comme des Garçons OG Single Hearts Chuck 70, priced at INR 12,499, and the Chuck 70 Ox, available for INR 11,999, in sizes UK 5 to UK 15. The design features CDG’s ‘Hearts and Eyes’ logo on the lateral side of the shoes, which come in classic Milk and Black colourways with white foxing and toecaps. Crafted from premium canvas, the limited-edition Chucks also include cobranded sock-liners, OrthoLite cushioning for comfort, and a vintage license plate.
The Converse x PLAY Comme des Garçons OG Single Hearts pack was made available on September 27 on Converse.in.
