Amazon Beauty launches skincare advisor tool and derma store

Amazon Beauty has announced the launch of three major new initiatives – the Amazon Derma Store, the upgraded Global Beauty Store 2.0, and the SkinCare Advisor tool. These initiatives aim to enhance the online beauty shopping experience by offering a curated selection of top brands, trending skincare ingredients, new product launches, and unique finds.

“With skincare as our largest category, it was a natural next step to launch the new Derma Store to better serve the growing demand for specialized skincare solutions. We recognise that shopping for skincare online can be challenging, with customers often seeking personalized advice before purchasing,” Zeba Khan, Director of Beauty, Luxury Beauty & Personal Care, Amazon IN said.

“That’s why we’re introducing the all-new SkinCare Advisor feature to provide tailored product recommendations based on each customer’s unique skin concerns and preferences,” Zeba added.

The SkinCare Advisor tool provides tailored skincare solutions based on individual skin concerns and preferences. Integrated into the search function, customers complete a short survey about their skin type and goals. The tool then offers personalised product recommendations across a full skincare routine, including cleansers, treatments, moisturisers, sunscreens, and eye care.

The recently launched Derma Store features a wide assortment of brands and products formulated with trending skincare ingredients. It offers a diverse selection of daily moisturisers, cleansers, targeted serums, and sunscreens from top brands like CeraVe, Cetaphil, BIODERMA, Sebamed, ISDIN, Avène, Episoft, LACTO CALAMINE, and La Shield.

The upgraded Global Beauty Store 2.0 directly brings customers over 60 international beauty brands. The store includes new brand launches like Anastasia Beverly Hills, NUDESTIX, Beauty of Joseon, AXIS-Y, FIRST AID BEAUTY, rom&nd, and MAX FACTOR. It offers over 5,000 products across skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare, with discounts of up to 40%.

Amazon Seller Services Private Ltd, an Amazon.com, Inc. affiliate, operates the Amazon IN marketplace. It seeks to build a customer-centric online destination for customers to find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online by offering– a vast selection, low prices, fast and reliable delivery; and providing sellers with an e-commerce marketplace.
