Trent, the parent company of Zudio and Westside, reported a strong 34% jump in net profit for the third quarter of FY25, reaching ₹497 crore. The company’s revenue from operations also saw a 34% rise year-on-year, touching ₹4,657 crore—closely aligning with market expectations.
Aggressive Store Expansion Driving Growth
During the quarter, Trent expanded its store network aggressively, adding 14 new Westside stores and 62 Zudio stores (including one in Dubai) across 46 cities. After consolidating a few locations, the company now operates 238 Westside stores and 635 Zudio outlets, along with 34 stores under other lifestyle concepts.
The company’s fashion portfolio continues to perform well, with high single-digit like-for-like (LFL) growth. As of December 31, 2024, Trent’s total retail footprint exceeded 11 million sq. ft., marking a 33% expansion from the previous year.
Emerging Categories
Trent highlighted that beauty & personal care, innerwear, and footwear are gaining strong traction, now contributing over 20% of the company’s revenue. These categories are positioned as key growth drivers alongside its core fashion business.
With a rapidly growing store network, strong customer traction, and expanding categories, Trent continues to solidify its position as a leader in India’s fashion retail landscape.
