Terractive secures Rs. 8 Crore in pre-series A funding, led by Fireside Ventures

Terractive, a Mumbai-based lifestyle activewear brand, has raised ₹8 crores in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures and DeVC (Matrix Partners). The company plans to use the funds to boost fabric development and product innovation.

Founded in 2023 by sisters Raena Ambani and Rahee Ambani-Choksi, Terractive aims to redefine activewear by merging advanced fabric technology with comfort. The brand’s signature materials include TerraSoft, which offers a cotton-like feel and anti-odor properties, and CoolKnit, designed for its cooling effect and premium look. With a focus on quality and innovation, Terractive strives to be the top choice for premium, everyday activewear.

Raena Ambani, who has a background in sports engineering and is a national-level sprinter, has developed product technologies for global brands worn by top athletes. She is driven to improve comfort in activewear. Rahee Ambani-Choksi, a tennis player and LSE graduate, brings her expertise in strategy and investing to the brand’s growth.
