Footwear retailer, Bata, celebrating its 130th global anniversary, has opened a new headquarters in Gurugram, India, emphasising sustainability and modern design. The office, located in Millennium City, has been certified with Platinum LEED Grade-A and GRIHA certifications, highlighting its eco-friendly infrastructure.
The new workspace incorporates ‘Blue Sky Thinking,’ encouraging creativity and team collaboration. The office features a hot seat concept, wellness room, library, creative open workspaces, and smart technology such as interactive digital screens and facial recognition access. Approximately 33% of the office benefits from natural light, alongside water recycling systems, solar power, and the use of low VOC paints, demonstrating Bata’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
